Classes

What we teach here at MMYYZ is a hybrid of Strength and Conditioning and FUNctional movement training. This is where we ramp things up, baby!! These classes are high energy and good vibes all around. Take your strength and conditioning to new heights as you develop skill both moving objects, such as a barbell, dumbbells, and kettlebells, and moving yourself with modified gymnastics, calisthenics, and bodyweight skills. Throw in a little metabolic conditioning, and you’ll be right as rain. Anything and everything can be modified for different levels of ability. Have fun with friends, play with competition, and enjoy the greater degree of intensity that the group dynamic tends to enCourage!!

Personal Training

This is your best opportunity to really explore the minutiae and specificity of what your body needs on the individual level to function more effectively and move better before you start moving more often. Dive deeply into your personal needs with exclusive one-on-one attention, programming, and personalization as a means of addressing pain, dysfunction, and learning new skills in a way that really works for you.

Open Gym

EnJoy the beauty and solitude of your own workouts. Use the space as you like, honour those around you, and have a good time getting into your strength and movement experience in your ways at your own time and speed.

Energy Work

This is a beautiful and healing modality which asks the participant to be in a relaxed, receptive state so the facilitator can usher in “light and information” to assist the recipient on all levels: body, mind, emotions, and spirit. This work goes deep, all the way to the cells and level of the DNA structures, and assists the body to let go of blockages and build up of all sorts. No two sessions are alike, and the process varies from person to person. This work can offer wonderful amounts of help to the body when purely physical methods have run their course, as we are all ultimately systems of interconnected systems.

Massage

A classical hands-on modality, massage can be a very useful and complimentary therapeutic aid to assist soft tissue challenges, flexibility/mobility issues, and the stresses that can come from considerable physical training and/or life itself. Allow our therapist to help release stubborn trigger points, fascial restrictions, tight muscles, and also shed light on what you could be doing differently in and out of the gym to help your body and workouts as a whole.

Infrared Sauna

Have an hour to yourself in our beLoved hotbox as a way to slow down, detoxify, aid your recovery from workouts and stress in general, and come into a more meditative state. The infrared beams penetrate deeply into the body, allowing for an overall air temperature that is not as hot as traditional saunas. As such, you will be able to comfortably last longer in the healing heat, get a nice, deep sweat, and help your body as a whole clear out and rejuvenate. Many people also experience deeper states of sleep after a nice sauna.
